Classic Cruise
Our most popular Itinerary and an outstanding cruise choice. Live life at the gentle pace of the Shannon Princess, cruise through the heart of hidden Ireland and experience shore excursions that are curated by your captain. Cruise highlights include Birds of Prey at stunning Adare Manor, traditional Hand weaving on the shores of Lough Derg, taste world renowned Galway Bay Oysters at a traditional Guinness & Oyster bar in Galway. Along with Whiskey tasting at Kilbeggan Distillery and a private visit to Leap Castle reputed to be Ireland’s most haunted castle.
Walking Cruise (Charter Only)
Hosted by our professional Walking Guide – our Walking Itinerary embraces the luxury and comfort of barging, along with the satisfaction and exhilaration of quality walking tours. For avid walkers, this is the perfect chartered river cruise. The lush countryside along the River Shannon provides a truly wonderful trail for an Irish walking tour cruise. The barge cruises a uniquely-beautiful route that has changed little through the centuries. We explore trails and ancient walkways that are steeped in Irish history and mythology.
Golf Cruise
(Charter Only)
Our Golf Cruise Itinerary includes 3 of Europe’s best golf courses and one local course. Adare Manor Golf Course is part of the beautiful Adare Manor Estate in Adare Village, Co. Limerick and will host the Ryder Cup. We have also included the world famous Lahinch Golf Course, this will test any golfer and will probably rank as the most memorable golf course a guest will play on in Ireland. On the shores of the wild Atlantic Ocean we play Trump Doonbeg. Included in the Golf Cruise is one local course, Glasson Golf Course, located right next to our moorings in Glasson. Golfers describe Glasson as simply breath taking. We don’t leave non-golfing spouses/partners hanging about, a “tantalising” Cruise Itinerary awaits them.
Family Cruise (Charter Only)
Special, quality time with the family - enjoying the things you love and discovering exciting new ones – that’s what our Family Cruise is all about. A European scenic river cruise with a difference and fun activities for all ages.
You’ll slow down to the leisurely pace of the Shannon Princess, and while this cruise includes many popular excursions, we can add other cruise choices to design your own bespoke charter.
