The extensive growth of lavender gives a lovely purple hue to the mountainside when they appear in the distance.

An tSlí Mór, translated as the Great Road, crosses early historic Ireland from east to west where the modern Pilgrim Path winds along the Esker Riada. Stroll along and experience these mystical trails where the Pilgrims once ventured in Old Medieval Ireland. Take in the stunning views of green meadows and bogland countryside, miles away from the busy city.
